Happy September y’all! Can you believe that we have entered the 9th month of 2026 all ready? Time is flying by very quickly nowadays. I realized as we get older, time goes by very quickly. For example, when I was younger time didn’t go this fast, I bet a lot of you resonate with that. September is my birthday month; I’ve already been 30 for almost a whole year now. I’m entering 31 towards the end of September and I just can’t believe it! There are so many things that I still must do. I can’t believe this year is almost over. It felt like we just started the year, I’m not even lying about that. Do many of you feel the same way as I do? Do you feel like this year just started and within a flash it’s already September!? Because I do!

How many of you love the season of fall? It’s personally my favorite because I really come to love spooky season and I love wearing flannels and Plaid shirts slash letters and jackets. I just love the season because of the aesthetic and vibes.

Fall brings out the seasonal colors such as red, orange, yellow, brown, black, and purple. Those are the colors that resonate this season. Also brings out specific beverages/ drinks out there like pumpkin spice flavors, apple crisp flavors, pumpkin and Oktoberfest beer, etc. When we hit September, I automatically think it’s already fall even though the fall equinox doesn’t start till September 21st generally speaking. Yes, it’s still hot in September, especially here on the West Coast specifically like here in the San Fernando Valley. However, you know fall is here due to the seasonal changes of nature, and you can already see Halloween stuff floating around. Another sign that it’s fall, is that we have Oktoberfest, which in the United States, it is popular for its annual autumn festival celebrating German and Bavarian heritage with traditional food, beer, music and dancing. I will dedicate A blog specifically to Oktoberfest since it’s a cool fun festival slash event during this season. There’s even a movie about Oktoberfest which is called Beerfest which came out in 2006, created by the comedy troupe, broken lizard.

Of course we have Halloween, all the Halloween events like Pumpkin patches, Halloween horror nights, fright fest, haunted houses and mazes and corn mazes throughout the month of September and October and then November we have Thanksgiving. And then after the season is over, we go right into the holiday season of Christmas and all the winter holidays. Of course, Christmas usually comes right after Halloween at this point now, Thanksgiving is sort of a forgotten holiday, but we don’t really want to forget that of course, but society is weird and so is the media.

So, come on there’s a lot to do here in the San Fernando Valley.  Let’s get into the top 10 things to do.
