I don’t normally post two blogs in 1 week however this needed to be said since it’s very local and news that needs to be shared.
The west valley got hit hard Tuesday evening starting at 5:00pm. Tuesday was one hell of a day for starters. Many of valley people and among the US and probably other countries woke up early (like 3:15am in the morning early) to purchase Peanuts + Starbucks collaboration merchandise from local Starbucks. Needless to say, my hubby and I got mostly what we wanted since we adore Snoopy & Woodstock.
It was a tough day at work for both of us in our own ways but we got through it. Made it home safely, shared our love for Snoopy exploring & findings and rested most of the day after while running some errands like most of us do.
Around after 5pm, news broke out that there was a horrific accident in Chatsworth, CA on the cross streets of DeSoto & Nordoff.
A car slammed into in a Metro Bus injuring many and causing 2 fatalities. The driver was a woman , Bailee Rios (36) of Simi Valley, was intoxicated and turned this town upside down and many lives upside down in a second.
Here the eerie , unthinkable crazy part that happened, afterwards.
An hour or so later, a news coverage nbc4 helicopter suddenly loss control and crashed a block away from the scene where they were reporting and covering the local news about the incident that just happened. Unfortunately the helicopter pilot, the reporter and a person from the ground lost their lives in this freaky incident as well.
All together 5 fatalities all because of a person who was in fact intoxicated and speeding , crashing into a metro bus injuring many and took 2 lives. Rios has been arrested on suspicion of murder with bond set at $4 million.
5 people lost their lives out of no where on 9/15/26 here in Chatsworth, Ca.

Daniel Castillo & Gage Weida were the fatalities from the metro bus accident. George Marciniw (the 4nbc helicopter pilot) Eliana Moreno (the news reporter) , & Edy Gutierrez Medjia (the pedestrian from the ground where the helicopter crashed) all lost their lives.
Say their names. Remember this day. The west valley of San Fernando, Los Angeles , Ca got hit hard. These lives and their family and loved ones got hit beyond words cannot explain. Rest in Peace to them. A whole handful of them. Remember that. All because of one stupid act.
